Winter citrus overnight oatmeal

Ingredients
  • ½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup unsweetened milk of your choice (almond, whole, etc)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground cardamom
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 blood orange
  • 1 grapefruit
Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the oats, yogurt, unsweetened milk, chia seeds, vanilla extract, cinnamon, cardamom, and salt. Whisk together.
  2. Place in a serving dish (glass, mason jar, etc), cover with plastic wrap, and place in the refrigerator for overnight.
  3. In the morning, remove the oatmeal from the refrigerator and top with segments of blood orange and grapefruit. Squeeze in some of the blood orange and grapefruit juice and enjoy.
